Rob is a fully qualified mountain leader, level 1 paddlesports instructor, level 2 mountain bike instructor, first aid trained to remote emergency care first aid level 4 and a member of the Mountain training association. He also served for 6 years as a fully operational member of Mountain Rescue.
The outdoor world has been in Robs blood from an early age walking many parts of the UK mountains and hills. Living on the edge of the Peak District National Park has been a huge inspiration. He has also trekked in the French Alps, Croatia, Italy and Himalaya.
Flora and Fauna are of particular interest, with Rob spending many of his early years working as a volunteer countryside ranger in his local area where he grew up.
Sharing a passion with people for wild and remote places is an important element of what he does, imparting knowledge of the environment. Anyone that has spent time with Rob in this environment will testify to that.
